Madame Curie is our hero and inspiration. She was the first scientist to win two Nobel Prizes, first one in 1903 for co-discovering polonium and radium, and second one in 1911 for her work on radioactivity (a term she coined) and for isolation of radium metal. Her work also later lead to the invension of medical diagnostic tools.
